1. Caleido is a sort of Diary. What is the most significant memory/anecdote, related to your brand, that you would write down in your Diary?
The most meaningful memory is one of the first photoshoots for Mud is Mood. That time, I had decided to involve four of my best friends, with whom I have shared a passion for dance for years, as models in the photoshoot. Since my Intersezioni collection was inspired by the female silhouette, this union between my dancer friends and my vases had created an incredible synergy. Each woman had been matched with a specific vase and color, based on their physique and their characteristics. The photoshoot had been set in the garden of my country house. I remember the beautiful spring, sunny day, the white sheets spread out on the meadow, the smell of the grass, my friends changing their clothes, the laughs, and my two year old daughter Alice, running happily and throwing one of my spheral vases in the lawn. In that moment, she became the sweetest testimonial of Mud is Mood.

2. If you had to associate your brand with a song, what would it be? Would you listen to it on vinyl or Spotify?
“Hopeless Wanderer” by Mumford & Sons because it speaks about dreams and discoveries. Mud is Mood is a brand that I created as a journey to discover myself. The song invites us to live and believe in our dreams although sometimes we feel lost in the frenzy of life. I would choose to listen to it on vinyl over online streaming because I would be able to feel a strong energy from the sound of listening to a record play.

3. Speaking instead of you, how do other people most often describe you? What passions, beyond your work, inspire you the most?
Generally people would describe me as a refreshing, empathic and open-minded person because I love to explore and I love to learn. However, those that know me best would say that I can also be impatient and impulsive. One of my huge passions is to travel, a passion that my mother passed down to me; to discover new places, to live and to enrich my life with new experiences. Being a mother has also allowed me to look at travelling through my daughter’s perspective; to savor every discovery with astonishment and to live in the moment. These are experiences that inspire my job.
