1. Caleido is a sort of Diary. What is the most significant memory/anecdote, related to your brand, that you would note in your Diary?
The most significant memory on a personal level, and therefore also for Sitia, dates back to 2005. I was in Jakarta, Indonesia, at an event called “A night in Venice” where I had the opportunity to present Sitia for the first time at a major public event. That moment had a twofold impact: on the one hand consecrating us as a company strongly export-oriented, on the other hand giving us the push and the conviction that the service-oriented mentality, availability, flexibility were key factors for the development of the brand. A “human” approach that is the beating soul of Sitia, and that was then displayed in the company payoff: ‘the human contract’.
2. If you had to associate your brand with a song, what would it be? Would you listen to it on vinyl or Spotify?
“Come Fly with Me” of Frank Sinatra. A track that associates my great passion to dream, fly, travel and explore new Countries and cities with the fact that today the Sitia brand exports 86% of its production. I would listen to it on Spotify.
3. Speaking instead of yourself, how do other people most often describe you? What are the passions, beyond your work, that inspire you most?
Hyperactive: never tired and never stopped! That’s what I’ve always been called, and I completely agree. When I’m not working, I love to dabble in the kitchen and surround myself with friends for lunch or dinner and enjoy food made with simple, zero-mile ingredients, or good wines. Cooking actually helps me unplug… clear my mind and travel with my thoughts.
