Edited by the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht and the Aldo Rossi Foundation in Milan, this publication brings together the complete body of graphic works by the renowned Milanese architect (1931–1997), including prints, lithographs, silkscreens, woodcuts, and etchings. It offers a previously unpublished and detailed study of a practice which, through traditional techniques, stands alongside his theoretical writings, drawings, architectural projects, and design works. The images, created using these methods and dating from the early 1970s, document an expansion of his architectural thinking into an artistic and imaginative dimension. They reflect both personal obsessions and utopian visions, giving rise to surprising and enchanting combinations of buildings and objects, enriched by original forms and vivid colors. This entire corpus thus becomes an extension of his architectural expression and is, for the first time, studied, catalogued, and presented starting from the nearly complete collection held by the museum in Maastricht.
