I am @magalinimarco<\/a>, co-founder and creative director of the creative consulting agency MM Company, promoter and curator of MM Award. In MM Company<\/a>, we created the MM Award project to award and promote the best creatives and companies\/studies\/collectives in the fields of fashion, product & interior design. We created MM Award – International creative award to be a spokesperson, towards our network, for the next generation talents in the fields of fashion, product and interior design.<\/p>\n

When we imagined MM Award, we thought of a project useful for students, professionals and companies\/studies\/collectives to promote their talents. For a student, winning MM Award means being able to add a plus to his or her CV, and thus being able to stand out. For a professional, on the other hand, getting noticed by the international press, thus spreading their value. For the 2023 edition, in addition to the winners, 4 special mentions will be assigned:<\/p>\n

“Made in Italy is”<\/strong>: to award the project that will best describe, express and represent the values of the Made in Italy (craftsmanship, design, authenticity, brand of origin, local production, local raw materials, manufacturing excellence, cultural manufacturing and genius loci).<\/p>\n

“Best Innovator is”<\/strong>: to award the most innovative project.<\/p>\n

“Best Sustainable is”<\/strong>: to award the project that will best bring out the concept of sustainability in its field, in relation to the challenges of contemporary society (environmental sustainability, community support, safeguarding or protecting cultural heritage).<\/p>\n

“Best Creative is”<\/strong>: to award the project that will best show creativity.<\/p>\n

Marco Magalini graduated in Diplomacy and International Relations at the University of Trieste, Gorizia branch, with a thesis on International Law on the International Legal Protection of the Brand \u201cMade in Italy\u201d. After the degree, he moves to Milan where he attends the master in Luxury goods communication and brand management at the Accademia del Lusso, dealing with a thesis on the importance of the Brand experience for the Made in Italy luxury brands. After the master, he becomes a journalist and starts writing for some magazines such as Modaonline, Fashion Illustrated, Urban, The Lifestyle Journal, and was the art director of Designspeaking, an online magazine dedicated to talents in the world of design. In 2014 he published his first book \u201cModa. The new made in Italy\u201d, with a foreword by Renzo Rosso (founder of Diesel, part of the OTB group), which tells the stories of 12 new generation fashion talents. In the same year he is entrusted, as a teacher, the course of Made in Italy & Luxury Goods System at Accademia del Lusso in Milan and participates as a speaker at various conferences on topics related to the Made in Italy. In 2015 founds together with Manuel Barbieri MM Company, a creative consulting agency.<\/div>\n
