A photographic journey through homes with unique souls, narrated by the silent and magnetic presence of dogs and cats. Still Pets was born from years of encounters, open doors, and fleeting moments in which animals are not mere subjects, but true inhabitants, capable of transforming a space into a warmer, more genuine, and more vibrant place. With an intimate and sensitive eye, Paola Maria Stella captures not only the elegance of interiors – often designed by international architects and designers – but also glimpses of the personalities of those who live within them, amid furniture, light, and memories. Each shot is an invitation to pause, observe, and be moved. A book that weaves together portraiture, architecture, design, and a love for beauty and animals, turning photography into an experience of warmth and wellbeing.
