A historic address on Via della Spiga, originally built at the end of the eighteenth century, Palazzo Pertusati is now at the heart of a major urban regeneration. Following the completion of works led by Hines Italia, with a design by Scandurra Studio Architettura, the building has been renamed Spiga 26, a new Milanese landmark.
A contemporary and exclusive space, intended for retail and office use. Over 12,000 square meters of building space in the heart of the Quadrilatero della Moda, in central Milan. Overlooking both Via della Spiga and Via Senato, the project frames a 180-square-meter internal courtyard that connects the two architectural bodies, restored in full harmony with the surrounding context.
The volume documents the origin and realization of the project in relation to the historical nature of the site and its more recent evolution. Via della Spiga has become one of Milan’s symbolic locations, capable of bringing together different disciplines and facets of creativity and culture, where design intersects with music, work with fashion, nightlife with shopping.
